Francesco Bagnaia claims his third podium of the season as he crossed the line in third place. Like the opening round in Thailand, the Italian could not match the Spanish riders ahead of him.

Johann Zarco had a poor start from the front row but managed to bring himself back into the fight. The LCR Honda Castrol rider ended the Sprint Race in fourth place, his best result with Honda.

Fabio di Giannantonio returns to the top five after he finished the Sprint Race in fifth. The Italian has been back at the sharp end throughout the weekend in South America.

Marco Bezzecchi was the top Aprilia rider in the Sprint Race as he crossed the line in sixth place. The Italian showed better pace in Practice but could not stick with the front runners.

Franco Morbidelli crossed the line in seventh place after early drama as he made contact with Brad Binder.

Joan Mir was the second Honda rider inside the top ten as he finished in eighth place.

Pedro Acosta rounded out the point scoring positions after finishing in ninth on his Red Bull KTM Factory Racing machine.
