Manuel Gonzalez topped both Free Practice One and Practice at the Lusail International Circuit.
After topping Free Practice One on Friday evening, Manuel Gonzalez continued his strong form at the Lusail International Circuit as he topped Practice in the evening.
Aron Canet was once again in second place and had been Gonzalez's closest challenger throughout the opening day.
Moto2 rookie Daniel Holgado continued to impress as he ended Friday in third place on the CFMOTO Aspar Team Kalex.
Red Bull KTM Ajo rider Deniz Oncu was in third place in Free Practice One and then finished fourth in the evening Practice session.
Rounding out the top five was Albert Arenas on the ITALJET Gresini Moto2 machine.
Zonta van den Goorbergh made his way into the top ten after ending Free Practice One in 14th he improved to sixth in the evening.
Barry Baltus was on the Moto2 podium at Qatar in 2024 and could challenge for a rostrum position again this season. The Belgian rider ended the opening day at the circuit in seventh place.
In eighth place was Marcos Ramirez from the OnlyFans American Racing Team. This was a slight improvement from his 11th place in Free Practice One.
Moto2 rookie David Alonso was inside the top ten as he finished in ninth place.
Completing the top ten was the top Boscoscuro rider and the Moto2 World Championship leader, Jake Dixon.
