MotoGP Qatar, Qualifying Results | Marc Marquez will start from pole position, Francesco Bagnaia will start in 11th

Marc Marquez has claimed his fourth pole position of the 2025 MotoGP season as he smashed the lap record in Qatar.

After setting an all-time lap record at the Lusail International Circuit, Marc Marquez secured pole position for the fourth time this season.

Joining his brother on the front row will be the MotoGP World Championship leader, Alex Marquez. The younger Marquez brother will start from the middle of the front row in second.

Yamaha is back on the front row of a MotoGP grid as Fabio Quartararo put the M1 at the rear of the front row. The French rider will start from third place in the middle of a Ducati sandwich.

The Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team will start from fourth and fifth on the grid. Franco Morbidelli will head the second row, and Fabio di Giannantonio will start from the middle of it.

Maverick Vinales was the top KTM rider in Qualifying as he put his Red Bull KTM Tech3 machine in sixth. The Spaniard has previous form around the Lusail International Circuit and could fight in the top five.

The top Honda rider was Johann Zarco, as he was the only rider from the Japanese manufacturer in Q2. The LCR Honda Castrol rider qualified at the head of the third row in seventh place.

BK8 Gresini Racing MotoGP rider Fermin Aldeguer has had a solid weekend and will start from eighth place.

Yamaha had two riders inside the top ten as Alex Rins qualified on the back of the third row in ninth.

Completing the top ten was the top Aprilia rider Ai Ogura. The MotoGP rookie will start from tenth place on the Trackhouse Racing machine.
