It was a clear show of force from Manuel Gonzalez on Friday afternoon as he topped the Moto2 Practice session.

Manuel Gonzalez looked very comfortable during the opening day of Practice at the Spanish Grand Prix. The Liqui Moly Dynavolt Intact GP rider ended the day on top of the timesheets with a 0.338-second advantage.

Barry Baltus had an impressive Friday at the Circuito de Jerez for the Fantic Racing Lino Sonego squad. The Belgian rider was second in Free Practice One and ended the afternoon Practice session in second.

After topping the opening session of the weekend, Deniz Oncu remained on the pace in the afternoon. The Turkish rider and the Red Bull KTM Ajo squad ended the day in third place.

The second Liqui Moly Dynavolt Intact GP rider of Senna Agius, was also in the top five at the end of the day. Agius will walk away from the opening day of the Spanish Grand Prix in fourth place.

ITALJET Gresini Moto2 rider, Albert Arenas, lingered at the bottom of the order during the first half of the session. But towards the conclusion, he made his way up the order and ended up in fifth place.

Aron Canet featured inside the top ten on the Fantic Racing Lino Sonego machine. The Spaniard ended the day in sixth place, while his teammate was in second.

The top CFMoto Gaviota Aspar Team rider on Friday was David Alonso. The reigning Moto3 World Champion ended the day in seventh place and beat his fellow rookie teammate.

Jake Dixon was once again the top Boscoscuro rider in the Friday afternoon Practice session. The British rider was in eighth place when the chequered flag was shown.

The second Moto2 rookie inside the top ten was the second CFMoto Gaviota Aspar Team rider. Daniel Holgado has been better than his teammate in the opening Grands Prix, but is now ninth at the Spanish Grand Prix.

Completing the top ten was the Beta Tools SpeedRS Team, as Celestino Vietti ended up in tenth place and was 0.737 seconds behind Gonzalez's best lap time.
