It was Marc Marquez domination on Friday at the French Grand Prix as he topped both Practice sessions throughout the day.
Marc Marquez ended Free Practice One on top of the timesheets and then ended the Friday afternoon Practice session on top as well with a 0.177 gap over the rest of the field.
Fabio Quartararo pleased the home fans as he ended the day in second place on the Monster Energy Yamaha.
Francesco Bagnaia was 0.007 seconds behind Quartararo on the timesheets as he ended the day in third place.
The BK8 Gresini Racing MotoGP team ended the session in fourth and fifth place. Fermin Aldeguer was in fourth with his teammate Alex Marquez in fifth.
Jack Miller was 0.422 seconds behind Marc Marquez at the end of the session as he ended up in sixth. The Australian rider has prior form around Le Mans and will want to be back in the points this weekend.
Two KTM riders ended the day in seventh and eighth places, with Pedro Acosta and the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing team in seventh and Maverick Vinales and the Red Bull KTM Tech3 squad in eighth.
Franco Morbidelli ended the day in ninth place on the Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team Ducati.
Completing the top ten was the top Aprilia rider of Marco Bezzecchi, who ended the day 0.767 seconds behind Marc Marquez.
