Despite a heavy battle, it was Aron Canet who was able to secure the final podium place for the Fantic Racing Lino Sonego squad.

Diogo Moreira was in the fight for the podium but was unable to get the better of Canet on the final lap of the race, so he had to settle for a fourth-place finish.

Home hero, Celestino Vietti, could see a potential podium on the final lap of the race, but the Beta Tools SpeedRS Team rider could only manage a fifth place.

After winning the Aragon Grand Prix last time out, big things were expected from Deniz Oncu. However, the Turkish rider was able to secure more points but crossed the line in sixth place.

Izan Guevara was back inside the top ten for the third time this season as he finished in seventh place on the bLU cRU Pramac Yamaha Moto2 machine.

Moto2 rookie, David Alonso, was able to fight through the order to an eighth-place finish for the CFMoto Gaviota Aspar Team.

Completing the top ten were the OnlyFans American Racing Team riders, as Joe Roberts finished ninth and Marcos Ramirez was in tenth.

British rider, Jake Dixon, had a difficult weekend at Mugello and did not score any points as he finished in 17th place.
