MotoGP Dutch TT, Free Practice One Results | Marc Marquez bounces back from a huge crash to top the opening session

From the gravel trap to the top of the timesheets for Marc Marquez in Free Practice One at the TT Circuit Assen.

Marc Marquez started his day off with a huge crash in the opening moments of Free Practice One. However, after a brief visit back to his truck, he was back on track and took top spot.

Maverick Vinales was back on the pace as he put the Red Bull KTM Tech3 machine into the top three and he finished in second place.

Marco Bezzecchi made it three different manufacturers inside the top three as he put the Aprilia RS-GP into third place.

Francesco Bagnaia had a promising Friday morning as he finished in fourth place on the factory Ducati.

Completing the top ten was Fabio di Giannantonio on the factory spec Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team Ducati.

Fabio Quartararo was inside the top ten and the top Yamaha rider as he started his day in sixth place on the Monster Energy Yamaha.

The BK8 Gresini Racing MotoGP squad ended Free Practice One in seventh and ninth place, with Alex Marquez in seventh and Fermin Aldeguer in ninth.

Splitting the Gresini riders was the top Honda rider of Johann Zarco, on the LCR Honda Castrol in eighth place.

Rounding out the top ten was Alex Rins on the Monster Energy Yamaha, but he was 0.935 seconds behind Marc Marquez.
