Marc Marquez stood on top of a Grand Prix podium at the Red Bull Ring for the first time in his MotoGP career.
For the first time in a Grand Prix, Marc Marquez has claimed victory at the Red Bull Ring and secured his sixth race win in a row for the Ducati Lenovo Team.
MotoGP rookie, Fermin Aldeguer, featured on a Grand Prix podium for the second time as he finished in second place for the BK8 Gresini Racing MotoGP squad.
Despite leading the majority of the race, Marco Bezzecchi dropped back in the latter laps and could only manage a third-place finish on his factory Aprilia RS-GP.
KTM did not manage to claim a podium at their home Grand Prix, but did have two riders inside the top five. Pedro Acosta was in fourth place on the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing machine, and Enea Bastianini was in fifth on the Red Bull KTM Tech3 machine.
Joan Mir had his best result of the 2025 MotoGP season as he crossed the line in sixth place on the Honda HRC Castrol machine, and ended his run of poor luck.
All three KTM riders who started the Austrian Grand Prix finished the race inside the top seven, as Brad Binder was able to end his race in seventh place for the factory team.
Francesco Bagnaia was in the early fight for the podium, but as the race progressed and his tyres wore, he dropped further back and ended up in eighth place, 12 seconds behind Marc Marquez.
Raul Fernandez has featured inside the top ten across the last six Grands Prix and completed a solid weekend at the Red Bull Ring in ninth place.
Completing the top ten was the BK8 Gresini Racing MotoGP rider, Alex Marquez. The Spaniard could not make his way through the field after taking his long lap penalty and got stuck in tenth.
