Brad Binder led the way at the end of Day One at the Catalan Grand Prix as he topped his first Practice session of the 2025 season.
Friday was KTMs' day at the Circuit de Barcelona - Catalunya; it was the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing rider, Brad Binder, who topped the timesheets with a new All-Time Lap Record at the circuit.
Completing a KTM 1-2 was Binder's fellow Red Bull KTM Factory Racing rider, Pedro Acosta, who was 0.104 seconds behind his South African teammate.
The top Ducati rider at the end of the day in Barcelona was the BK8 Gresini Racing MotoGP rider, Alex Marquez, who was in third place.
The MotoGP World Championship leader, Marc Marquez, ended the opening day in Barcelona in fourth place on the factory Ducati.
Marco Bezzecchi was the top Aprilia rider on the opening day at the Catalan Grand Prix as he ended up in fifth place on the RS-GP.
The third KTM rider to feature inside the top ten at the end of Day One was the Red Bull KTM Tech3 rider, Enea Bastianini, who was in sixth place.
Franco Morbidelli was the third Ducati rider to feature inside the top ten as he ended up in seventh on the Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team machine.
In eighth and ninth places were the LCR Honda Castrol rider Johann Zarco and the Honda HRC Castrol rider Luca Marini.
Completing the top ten was the MotoGP rookie, Ai Ogura, on the Trackhouse Racing Aprilia RS-GP.
