MotoGP San Marino, Qualifying Results | Marco Bezzecchi takes his second pole position of the season

Marco Bezzecchi will start his home round from pole position after a tight Qualifying Two session at the San Marino Grand Prix.

Marco Bezzecchi will start from pole position for his and Aprilia's home race, as he set the fastest lap of the weekend at the San Marino Grand Prix in the all-important Qualifying session at Misano.

Alex Marquez has not performed at Misano in the past on a MotoGP machine, but he qualified in second place for the BK8 Gresini Racing MotoGP squad at the 2025 San Marino Grand Prix.

The only Yamaha inside the top 12 will start from the front row of the grid, as Fabio Quartararo was able to progress through Q1 and qualified in third place on the grid.

Marc Marquez set the pace on Friday, but he will have to start from the second row of the grid after qualifying in fourth place after making small mistakes during the 15-minute session.

Franco Morbidelli will start from the middle of the second row of the grid on the Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team Ducati after qualifying in fifth place for the team's home round.

In the final moments of the session, Luca Marini made his way onto the second row of the grid on the Honda HRC Castrol RC213V. The Italian will start his home round from sixth place on the factory Honda.

Heading up the third row of the grid is the Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team rider, Fabio di Giannantonio. The Italian will start his team's home Grand Prix from seventh place on the grid.

Despite positive results in the three Practice sessions, Francesco Bagnaia could not challenge for the front two rows of the grid. The two-time MotoGP World Champion will start the San Marino Grand Prix from eighth place.

Pedro Acosta was the only KTM rider to participate in Q2 and was able to put the Austrian manufacturer into ninth place on the grid at the back of the third row.

Completing the top ten was the BK8 Gresini Racing MotoGP rider, Fermin Aldeguer, who progressed through Q1 and qualified in tenth place at the head of the fourth row.
