For the third time this season, Fabio di Giannantonio featured on a MotoGP Sprint Race podium as he finished third at the VR46 Racing Team's home event.

Fermin Aldeguer was back in the points in a MotoGP Sprint Race as he took the BK8 Gresini Racing MotoGP machine to a sixth-place finish.
After starting from the second row of the grid, Luca Marini was able to take his Honda HRC Castrol RC213V to a points-scoring finish as he crossed the line in seventh.
The reigning MotoGP World Champion, Jorge Martin, scored points in a Sprint Race for the second time this season as he finished in eighth place on the Aprilia.
