Marco Bezzecchi took his second Sprint Race victory of the 2025 MotoGP season after snatching victory from Fermin Aldeguer.
Despite a difficult start that saw him drop out of the top five places, Marco Bezzechi was able to fight his way through the order and take victory on the final lap of the MotoGP Sprint Race in Indonesia.
MotoGP rookie Fermin Aldeguer came close to his first victory in the premier class, but had to settle for a second-place finish for the BK8 Gresini Racing MotoGP squad.
Raul Fernandez completed the MotoGP Sprint Race podium as he converted his front row start into a third-place finish in the 13-lap Sprint.
Alex Marquez was able to fight his way through from the third row of the grid to take a fourth-place finish for the BK8 Gresini Racing MotoGP squad.
Originally, the Honda HRC Castrol squad ended the day in fifth and sixth places, with Joan Mir in fifth and Luca Marini in sixth. However, the Italian was given a tyre pressure penalty and dropped to 13th.
The 2025 MotoGP World Champion, Marc Marquez, came from ninth place on the grid and was inside the top five in the early laps. However, after being given a Long Lap Penalty, he dropped back to sixth place.
The Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team riders, Franco Morbidelli and Fabio di Giannantonio, ended the day in seventh and eighth places.
Miguel Oliveira completed the points scoring positions as he was promoted from tenth place to ninth after Marini's tyre pressure penalty.
