Moto2 title contender, Diogo Moreira, was back on the top of a Moto2 podium after he controlled the Indonesian Grand Prix.

For the first time since the Austrian Grand Prix, Diogo Moreira returned to the top step of the Moto2 podium as he dominated the Indonesian Grand Prix and closed in on the Moto2 Championship leader.

The Moto2 World Championship leader, Manuel Gonzalez, originally finished the race in second place. However, he has since been disqualified from the Indonesian Grand Prix for using 'non-homologated software'.

Izan Guevara returned to the podium for the first time since the 2024 Malaysian Grand Prix, as he finished in second place and took his first podium for the BLU CRU Pramac Yamaha Moto2 squad.

Rounding out the podium was the Fantic Racing Lino Sonego squad. Aron Canet was back inside the top five for the first time since Assen, as he finished in third, and Barry Baltus was just behind his teammate as he finished in fourth place.

Albert Arenas was able to secure his best result since the Austrian Grand Prix as he finished in fifth place for the ITALJET Gresini Moto2 squad.

Joe Roberts was back inside the top ten for the first time since his race win at the Czech Republic Grand Prix. The American rider was able to cross the line in sixth place for the American Racing Team.

Moto2 rookie, Ivan Ortola, was able to secure his sixth top ten finish in his debut season in the class as he finished in seventh place for the QJMOTOR - Frinsa - MSi squad.

Fellow Moto2 rookie, Collin Veijer, also claimed his sixth top ten finish in his debut season with an eighth-place finish for Red Bull KTM Ajo at the Indonesian Grand Prix.

The Elf Marc VDS Racing Team rider, Jake Dixon, was in ninth place after Gonzalez was disqualified. The British rider could not make his way forward at Mandalika and dropped from his eighth-place grid position to ninth.

Completing the top ten was the Moto2 rookie, Adrian Huertas, from the Italtrans Racing Team.
