After Yamaha locked out the top three earlier today with Ryan Vickers leading the way in Free Practice One, Danny Kent took the top spot in Free Practice Two at Thruxton.
Earlier today Yamaha dominated the opening session of British Superbikes as they locked out the top three spots. In the second Practice session, Yamaha continued their dominance.
Danny Kent finished in second place earlier today, but his FP2 time moved him to the top of the time sheets at the end of Day One. Kent is still searching for his first BSB race win, which looks possible this weekend.
The Championship leader, Tommy Bridewell, looks set to extend his lead over the rest of the field this weekend. Bridewell could produce the magic at his home round and put his Honda back on top of the podium.
Kyle Ryde finished third in the first session of the day and continued his form into the second session. Ryde ends Day One as the third fastest rider out on track.
The top Ducati is once again Christian Iddon. In the Oxford Products Racing Ducati Teams home round Iddon is looking to close in on Bridewell and Glenn Irwin in the Championship standings.
FHO Racing and Peter Hickman appear to have found something today as Hickman ends today in fifth place.
Honda ended Practice in sixth and seventh place with Lee Jackson in sixth on the MasterMac Honda, and Andrew Irwin in seventh on the Honda Racing UK machine.
Max Cook finishes the day as the top Kawasaki rider, which is a shock after Jason O'Halloran's form in the earlier session. Cook finished in eighth place, with O'Halloran in tenth.
Billy McConnell ended the day inside the top ten as he took his C&L Fairburn Properties/Look Forward Racing Honda to a ninth-place finish.
