BSB Thruxton, Race Three Results | Ryan Vickers doubles up at Thruxton with his second win of the weekend

Ryan Vickers takes his second win of the weekend at Thruxton to complete a clean sweep for the OMG GRILLA Yamaha Team.

The opening two races at Thruxton had been dominated by the OMG GRILLA Yamaha Racing Team. Kyle Ryde won the first race of the meeting and Ryan Vickers won the Sprint Race. The final 20-lap race would conclude another incredible British Superbike meeting.

After winning all three races at Brands Hatch Vickers has continued his red-hot form to Thruxton. The Yamaha rider finished in second place on Saturday and took victory in Race Two. The #7 took his second win of the weekend in the final race of the weekend.

Once again Danny Kent comes so close to winning his first BSB race. With Vickers making a mistake at the final corner the McAMS Yamaha rider looked like he could capitalise. But Vickers held on over the line meaning Kent finished second.

After two fifth places in the previous two races at Thruxton Billy McConnell jumped up to third in the final race. The Australian had looked strong all weekend and will take home a well-deserved piece of silverware.

Despite winning the opening race of the weekend Kyle Ryde could not get back on the podium. However, a top-five finish for Ryde is a good result for his Championship challenge.

Charlie Nesbitt took his first-ever BSB podium at Thruxton last year but had a rough weekend this year. The MasterMac Honda rider entered the final lap in fourth but was mugged by Ryde, so had to settle for fifth.

Tommy Bridewell's hunt for a home podium will go on into 2025. The reigning British Champion could not get a podium this weekend but did get a sixth place in the final race of the weekend.

MasterMac Honda finished with both of their riders in the top seven in the final race of the weekend. Lee Jackson took his #14 Honda to a seventh-place finish.

2024 has been a difficult season for the whole FHO Racing Team. However, Thruxton has been one of their better rounds. After a fourth-place finish earlier Brookes ended his weekend with an eighth place.

Andrew Irwin was the fifth Honda rider in the top ten in Race Three. The #18 was further down in the early stages of the race but got a ninth-place finish in the final race of the weekend.

A rather average weekend for Leon Haslam. The ROKiT BMW rider has been in the top ten all weekend as he ended his weekend in tenth place.
