After his team-mate took victory on Saturday Ryan Vickers won the British Superbike Sprint race at Thruxton.

After Kyle Ryde took victory in a wild opening race of the weekend on Saturday, two races on Sunday allowed for more incredible racing. With a jumbled-up grid, the British Superbike Sprint race was guaranteed to deliver world-class racing.

On the opening lap of the race Championship challenger, Glenn Irwin suffered a massive high side. The race was red flagged and Irwin was taken away in an ambulance.

The race restarted for a shortened 10-lap Sprint rather than the original 12-laps. The grid was reset to how it originally was at the first start.

OMG GRILLA Yamaha Racing take their second win of the weekend at Thruxton. However, this time it was in the hands of Ryan Vickers. After an inconsistent start to 2024, Vickers has found form since Brands Hatch and has won four of the last five BSB races.

After missing out on the podium last year Completely Motorbikes Kawasaki rider, Max Cook took an emotional first BSB podium. Cook narrowly missed out on his first-ever BSB win, but after the race was still over the moon with his first podium.

Yesterday Danny Kent failed to finish the opening race after being involved in an incident on the last lap. But today the McAMS Racing Yamaha rider took a solid third place, just a day after announcing his plans for the 2025 BSB season.

Two Australians made up fourth and fifth place. Josh Brookes has been struggling in the 2024 BSB season but secured fourth place in the opening race of the day. Billy McConnell continues to impress this weekend as he takes his second fifth place at Thruxton.

Despite making a mistake at the final chicane Christian Iddon managed to hold onto a top-seven finish. The Ducati rider crossed the line in sixth place to keep his Championship challenge going.

The Championship leader, Tommy Bridewell, is still hunting for a home podium. The reigning Champion finished the Sprint race down in seventh place but made his way up through the order to claim this result.

Yesterday's race winner, Kyle Ryde, could not repeat his race-winning result in Race One. The Yamaha rider did manage to stay in the top ten but could only manage eighth place across the line.

Leon Haslam is not having the easiest weekend at Thruxton, but another top-ten finish adds valuable points to Haslams 2024 tally.

After starting from the front row and fighting for a podium Storm Stacey got shuffled down the order in the latter stages of the race. The Kawasaki rider rounded out the top ten in tenth.
