After a difficult first season back on a Ducati Panigale V4 R in 2023, Christian Iddon remained with the Oxford Products Racing Ducati squad in 2024.
Christian Iddon's most successful British Superbike seasons came in 2020 and 2021 when he rode for Paul Bird Motorsport. But after one year on a Suzuki in 2022 he returned to a Ducati for the 2023 and 2024 seasons.
The 39-year-old was one of only two Ducati riders on the 2024 British Superbike grid. After two winless years, the experienced Superbike rider returned to the top step of the podium last season.
Iddon ended the 2024 season in sixth place after securing one race win and seven further podiums. His second season in the grey Oxford Products colours ended up being a more consistent year than 2023.
Across the 32 races last season Iddon competed in 29 of them and crossed the finish line 24 times. Outside of his seven podium finishes Iddon was inside the top five on only two other occasions. However, he finished in the top ten on 12 other occasions and scored 261 points throughout the season.
After missing the final three races of the season due to an injury he picked up at Donington Park, Iddon did not get to say his final goodbyes to the Oxford Products Racing Ducati squad. In 2025 Iddon will switch teams and ride for AJN Steelstock Kawasaki.
