The 2024 MotoGP season was a make-or-break year for Enea Bastianini, instead of rising to the occasion he found himself out of the Ducati family for 2025.
Ducati had placed a lot of faith in Enea Bastianini across the four years he rode for the manufacturer. The Italian made his way through their ranks in MotoGP, after spending two years in satellite teams he arrived at the factory team in 2023.
Bastianini's first year in red was plagued with a shoulder blade injury, but 2024 needed to be different. However, since we already know he will not be with Ducati in 2025 it clearly shows he did not impress the Ducati bosses in a year where he was fully fit.

Throughout the 2024 season, Enea Bastianini stood on 17 podiums across Grands Prix and Sprint Races. The Italian found the majority of his success on a Sunday as he had 11 Grand Prix podiums and eight Sprint podiums.
The 27-year-old was victorious on four occasions as he won two Grands Prix in Britain and in Misano and a further two Sprint Races in Britain and Indonesia. 'The Beast' showed a high level of consistency in 2024 as he only failed to finish three races and was inside the top ten in 35 of the 40 races.
After being let go by Ducati at the end of the 2024 season Bastianini has found a new home for 2025 and 2026. The Italian will switch to Austrian manufacturer KTM as he has joined the Red Bull KTM Tech3 squad.
