British rider, Jake Dixon, continued his run of form as he set the pace during Practice at the Circuit of the Americas.
Jake Dixon ended the opening day at the Circuit of the Americas on top of the Moto2 timesheets. The British rider was fastest in Free Practice One and Practice on Friday.
bLU cRU Pramac Yamaha Moto2 rider, Tony Arbolino, ended the day in second place. The Italian was 0.6 seconds slower than Dixon at the end of the day.
Team HDR Heidrun rider, Alonso Lopez, ended the day in third place on the Boscoscuro chassis.
The fastest non-Boscoscuro rider was Moto2 Rookie, Daniel Holgado. The CFMoto Aspar Team rider ended the day in fourth place.
Celestino Vietti was 0.6 seconds behind his teammate and ended the session in fifth place.
Alex Escrig continues his impressive run after a positive result in Argentina. The Spaniard ended the opening day in sixth place on the KLINT Forward Factory machine.
Fantic Racing Lino Sonego rider, Barry Baltus, ended the opening day in America in seventh place.
Marcos Ramirez ended the opening day at his team's home Grand Prix in eighth place.
QJMOTOR - MT Helmets - MSi replacement rider, Oscar Gutierrez, ended his first day at the Circuit of the Americas in ninth.
IDEMITSU Honda Team Asia rider, Yuki Kunii, ended his day in tenth place.
