As the track continued to dry out during the opening Moto2 session of the weekend, Manuel Gonzalez set the best lap time.
Manuel Gonzalez continues his form into the second round of the 2025 Moto2 World Championship. The Spaniard ended the opening Free Practice session in Argentina on top of the timesheets.
After a difficult opening round in Thailand, Tony Arbolino found his way to the sharp end on Friday morning in Argentina. The BLU CRU Pramac Yamaha Moto2 rider ended the session in second place.
British rider, Jake Dixon, was fast during Free Practice One in mixed conditions and dry conditions. The Elf Marc VDS Racing rider is aiming for a top five finish this weekend at Termas de Rio Hondo.
Fantic Racing Lino Sonego rider, Aron Canet, was towards the front during the entire session. The Spaniard ended the morning in fourth place.
Brazilian rider, Diogo Moreira, ended the session in fifth place on his Italtrans Racing Team. The Argentine Grand Prix is the closest to a home event that the 20-year-old has on the current calendar.
Mario Aji had a solid morning as he ended Free Practice One in sixth place for the IDEMITSU Honda Team Asia.
Darryn Binder took the chequered flag in seventh place on his ITALJET Gresini Moto2 machine. The South African was nearly one second off of Gonzalez's time.
Deniz Oncu was the top Red Bull KTM Ajo rider in the opening session as he ended up in eighth.
OnlyFans American Racing Team rider, Marcos Ramirez, was in ninth place in Free Practice One.
Completing the top ten was Alonso Lopez with the SpeedUp Racing squad.
