Fermin Aldeguer is once again a Moto2 Grand Prix winner after a three-month wait since his last win in Germany.
For the first time in eight Grands Prix, Fermin Aldeguer is a Moto2 race winner once again. The SpeedUp Racing rider claimed his third race win of the 2024 season after previously winning in Spain and Germany.
Aron Canet returned to the podium this weekend as he finished in second place in the Australian Grand Prix.
Home hero, Senna Agius, claimed his first Moto2 podium this weekend at his home Grand Prix. The Australian rookie's previous best result was a fifth place before he finished third at Phillip Island.
The Moto2 Championship will go on to Thailand as the Championship leader, Ai Ogura, finished in fourth place.
Brazilian rider, Diogo Moreira, narrowly missed out on a fourth-place finish at Phillip Island. Moreira was +0.012 seconds behind Ogura as he finished in fifth place.
After winning in Japan Manuel Gonzalez could only manage a sixth-place finish in the Australian Grand Prix.
The #7 Barry Baltus finished in seventh place in the Australian Grand Prix. This was Baltus' best result of the 2024 season since the opening round where he finished in second place.
Italian rider, Tony Arbolino, only managed an eighth-place finish this weekend in Australia. The ELF Marc VDS Racing rider has struggled across the three flyaway rounds.
Sergio Garcia was back inside the top ten for the first time since the British Grand Prix. The Spaniard has been on a poor run of form of late and finished in ninth place in Australia.
Completing the top ten at Phillip Island was Marcos Ramirez on the OnlyFans American Racing Team machine.
British rider Jake Dixon failed to finish the race after a lap one crash.
