Moto2 Spain, Race Results | Manuel Gonzalez claimed his second win of the 2025 season

For the first time since the opening race of the year, Manuel Gonzalez returned to the top of the podium.

Manuel Gonzalez dominated his home Grand Prix as he led from start to finish in the Spanish Grand Prix. The Liqui Moly Dynavolt Intact GP rider won by 2.256 seconds and extended his Championship lead.

Barry Baltus returned to the rostrum for the first time since the 2024 Qatar Grand Prix. The Belgian rider crossed the line in second place on the Fantic Racing Lino Sonego machine.

The second Liqui Moly Dynavolt Intact GP rider of Senna Agius, claimed his second podium of the season. Agius crossed the line in third place and was the second Australian rider on the podium across the opening two races of the day.

Diogo Moreira missed out on his first podium of the 2025 season as he finished one second behind Agius. However, the Brazilian rider continues to improve as he equalled his best result of the season.

Deniz Oncu had a strong weekend at the Circuito de Jerez as he finished in fifth place. The Turkish rider was 6.390 seconds behind Gonzalez but continued his good run of form.

Albert Arenas kept himself in the fight for the top five, but missed out by 0.659 seconds come the end of the race. The ITALJET Gresini Moto2 rider crossed the line in sixth place behind Oncu.

The top Boscoscuro rider at the end of the Moto2 Grand Prix was Celestino Vietti. It was a difficult weekend for the Boscoscuro riders, but Vietti has now taken two seventh-place finishes in a row.

Aron Canet had a difficult home Grand Prix as he went from winning in Qatar to eighth in Jerez. The Spaniard had to watch his teammate stand on the podium after finishing 8.511 seconds behind the race winner.

The Elf Marc VDS Racing Team rounded out the top ten spots at the Spanish Grand Prix. Jake Dixon finished in ninth place with his teammate, Filip Salac, behind him in tenth.
