Honda took top spot on Friday morning at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya as Takaaki Nakagami set the fastest lap time in the opening session.
Takaaki Nakagami tops his final Free Practice One as a full-time MotoGP rider. The Japanese rider set the pace on Friday as he topped the timesheets on his Honda RC213V.
MotoGP rookie, Pedro Acosta, will complete his first year in the class this weekend. The Spaniard was second in Free Practice One.
The top Ducati on Friday morning was Alex Marquez on the Gresini Racing Ducati GP23. The Spaniard was third in Free Practice One at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.
Red Bull KTM Factory Racing rider, Brad Binder, was the second KTM rider in the top five. The South African ended his morning in fourth place.
The Championship leader, Jorge Martin, was in fourth place on Friday morning. The Spaniard is in control of the title fight with his rival behind him.
The Ducati Lenovo Team riders of Enea Bastianini and Francesco Bagnaia ended Friday morning in sixth and seventh places. Bagnaia was involved in a strange crash after the chequered flag, but he walked away from the crash unharmed.
The top Aprilia rider on Friday morning was Maverick Vinales in eighth place. The Aprilia Racing rider was the top Aprilia rider by six places.
The third KTM rider in the top ten on Friday morning was Jack Miller on the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing machine. The Australian rider was ninth on the timesheets in his final Free Practice One session on Friday morning.
Completing the top ten was Marc Marquez on the Gresini Racing Ducati GP23. The Spaniard was 0.6 seconds behind Nakagami at the end of the opening session of the weekend.
