MotoGP Barcelona, Warm-Up Results: Fernandez claims top spot, both title rivals take it easy on Sunday morning

Raul Fernandez tops the final Warm-Up session of the 2024 MotoGP season on his Trackhouse Racing Aprilia.

The final MotoGP Warm-Up session of the 2024 season has been completed. After the ten-minute session, it was Raul Fernandez who took the top spot for Trackhouse Racing.

The GasGas Factory Racing Tech3 riders ended up finishing in second and third. Pedro Acosta was in second, but crashed during the session. Augusto Fernandez participate in his final MotoGP race as a KTM rider, but he finished Warm-Up in third.

Fabio Quartararo ended the Sunday morning session in fourth place on his Monster Energy Yamaha.

The top Ducati on Sunday morning was Enea Bastianini, who finished the session in fifth place on the factory Lenovo Ducati.

Trackhouse Racing rider Miguel Oliveira will leave Aprilia after this weekend but finished Warm-Up in sixth place.

Red Bull KTM Factory Racing rider, Brad Binder started his day in seventh place on his KTM RC16.

Maverick Vinales did not score a point on Saturday in the Sprint Race, but finished Warm-Up in eighth place.

Gresini Racing MotoGP rider, Marc Marquez, has been struggling this weekend. The Spaniard has not looked comfortable around the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya and ended Warm-Up in ninth.

Alex Rins ended the Sunday morning session in tenth place on his Monster Energy Yamaha.

The title contenders Francesco Bagnaia and Jorge Martin were both outside of the top ten. Bagnaia ended the session in 11th with Martin in 16th.
