Fabio Quartararo claimed back-to-back pole positions as he took a sensational pole position at his home round.
Fabio Quartararo will start from pole position for the second time in the 2025 MotoGP World Championship. The Frenchman claimed pole at Jerez and will now start from pole at his home race.
It seemed like Marc Marquez had secured his fifth pole position of the year, but was relegated in the final moments to second place on the grid.
Alex Marquez will start from the back of the front row on the BK8 Gresini Racing MotoGP machine. Behind Marquez on the timesheets was his teammate, Fermin Aldeguer, who will start from fourth place after crashing late on in the session.
The top KTM rider was Maverick Vinales on the Red Bull KTM Tech3 machine. The Spaniard will start from fifth place in the middle of the second row, but was 0.699 seconds behind Quartararo.
Francesco Bagnaia will have work to do in the races as he will start from the back of the second row in sixth. The Italian rider struggled during Qualifying after having positive Practice sessions on Friday and Saturday.
Marco Bezzecchi was the top Aprilia rider as he qualified in seventh place on the factory Aprilia RS-GP.
Jack Miller will start from the middle of the third row on the Prima Pramac Racing Yamaha M1, alongside Miller on the third row will be Franco Morbidelli on the Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team Ducati.
After making his way through the first Qualifying session, Raul Fernandez was able to qualify in the top ten on the Trackhouse Racing Aprilia.
