Enea Bastianini won the Gran Premio Pramac dell’Emilia-Romagna last week and now he has topped the timesheets at Mandalika on Friday.
Last time out Enea Bastianini took victory in the Gran Premio Pramac dell’Emilia-Romagna and the Italian has carried his momentum into the flyaways. The Ducati rider who was not supposed to be involved in the Championship fight now is.
The Prima Pramac Racing Team had a solid Friday at the Mandalika Circuit. Jorge Martin ended the opening day in second place with Franco Morbidelli in third place.
The two-time MotoGP Champion, Francesco Bagnaia, nearly missed out on a top ten position. However, a late lap from the Italian put him into fourth place at the end of the Friday sessions.
Completing an all-Ducati top five was Marco Bezzecchi on the Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team Ducati. The Italian has been in the top ten in every Grand Prix since Germany and has carried his form to Indonesia.
The first non-Ducati rider at the end of the Friday sessions was the Yamaha of Fabio Quartararo. The French rider has stood on the podium every time MotoGP has visited Indonesia and could be on for his first podium of the 2024 season.
In seventh place was Marc Marquez on the Gresini Racing Ducati bike. The Spanish rider has never finished a race at Mandalika but could be on for a strong result this weekend.
The top KTM rider at the end of Friday was Pedro Acosta in eighth place on the GasGas Factory Racing Tech3 KTM.
The seventh Ducati rider inside the top ten on Friday was Fabio Di Giannantonio in ninth place.
Completing the top ten was the only Aprilia rider inside the top ten as Maverick Vinales ended Friday in tenth.
