MotoGP San Marino, Free Practice Two Results: Bezzecchi bounces back at home, Bagnaia and Martin second and third

Gold and Goose

Marco Bezzecchi takes the top spot in the final MotoGP Practice session.

It was Francesco Bagnaia who ended Friday as the fastest rider at Misano. Saturday morning Free Practice Two would not change the riders in the second Qualifying session but would help riders with setting changes.

The top rider on Saturday morning at Misano was Marco Bezzecchi. The Italian rider set the fastest lap time on his Ducati GP23. The VR46 Academy rider will know the track like the back of his hand and needs a strong weekend at home.

In second place was the reigning Champion, Bagnaia. The VR46 Academy rider was with Bezzecchi on track for the majority of the session as he showed his compatriot around the circuit.

Ducati locked out the top five once again as they had Jorge Martin in third on the Prima Pramac machine. In fourth place was the factory Ducati rider, Enea Bastianini, and then VR46 Academy rider, Franco Morbidelli in fifth.

The top KTM rider on Saturday morning was the test rider Pol Espargaro. The Spaniard is leading the charge against Ducati in only his second race weekend of the season.

In seventh place was Marc Marquez after he dropped down the order in the latter stages. Alex Marquez joined his brother in the top ten as he finished in ninth place.

Pedro Acosta was the second KTM rider in the top ten as he ended the session in eighth place. The only Aprilia in the top ten was Aleix Espargaro in tenth place.
