MotoGP San Marino, Warm-Up Results: Morbidelli leads a Ducati 1-2-3 on Sunday morning

Gold and Goose

Franco Morbidelli leads the Sunday morning Warm-Up session ahead of the San Marino Grand Prix.

It was Jorge Martin who won the Sprint Race on Saturday at Misano. However, Sunday is when the big points are available in the main Grand Prix race.

After claiming his first podium of the season on Saturday Franco Morbidelli leads Warm-Up on Sunday. The Italian has looked rejuvenated so far at Misano and has the pace to fight for a podium again.

Marc Marquez knocked himself out of race-winning contention in the Sprint Race after a poor start. But he has made a statement in Warm-Up as he ended the session in second, even after a mechanical issue.

Saturday's Sprint Race winner starts Sunday off in the top three as Martin ends the session in third place.

Fourth and fifth places were occupied by an Aprilia and a Yamaha. Maverick Vinales finished in fourth with Fabio Quartararo in fifth.

Ducati were in sixth place in the hands of Alex Marquez. With two KTMs behind in seventh and eighth, with Pedro Acosta in seventh and Jack Miller in eighth.

The two factory Ducati riders rounded out the top ten with Enea Bastianini in ninth and Francesco Bagnaia in tenth.
