Moto2 Thailand, Qualifying Results: Ogura secures his second pole position of the season

The Moto2 Championship leader, Ai Ogura, will start the Thai Grand Prix from pole position.

Ai Ogura secured pole position at the Chang International Circuit for the Thai Grand Prix. The Japanese rider needs to finish in fifth place at the lowest to win the Moto2 World Championship.

In the middle of the second row was Aron Canet on the Fantic Racing machine. The Spaniard topped Practice on Friday but could not match the Championship leader on Saturday.

Diogo Moreira will start the Thai Grand Prix in third place at the end of the front row. The Brazilian rider has not yet had a podium in 2024 but has a good chance to do so this weekend.

Heading the second row was Tony Arbolino on the Elf Marc VDS Racing machine in fourth place.

OnlyFans American Racing Team rider Marcos Ramirez will start the Thai Grand Prix in fifth place in the middle of the second row.

The second Elf Marc VDS Racing rider Filip Salac is also present on the second row as he qualified in sixth place.

The entire third row is locked out by Spanish riders. Albert Arenas qualified in seventh place on the Gresini Moto2 machine.

In the middle of the third row in eighth place is Fermin Aldeguer on the SpeedUp Racing machine. Completing the third row was Sergio Garcia in ninth place on the MT Helmets - MSi.

Rounding out the top ten was Manuel Gonzalez on the Gresini Moto2 machine.
