Alonso Lopez once again tops the Moto2 Practice at Aragon, whilst Sergio Garcia struggles in 26th.

In the morning Free Practice session it was Alonso Lopez who claimed the top spot ahead of the timed Practice sessions.

Just like in the morning, it was once again Lopez who claimed first place. The Spaniard had his future announced before the session and then went on to smash the Moto2 lap record at MotorLand Aragon.

Diogo Moreira set a stunning lap time as he went on to finish second place in the afternoon Practice session. The Brazilian may have had some help around the circuit but still ended up in the top three.

British rider Jake Dixon ended his Friday in third place on the CFMOTO Aspar machine. After finishing tenth in the morning Dixon made a big step.

The only two Boscoscuro riders in the top ten were Lopez in first and then Fermin Aldeguer in fourth. Aldeguer did lead the session early on but ended up finishing in the top five.

Just inside the top five was Aron Canet. The Spaniard could have gone further up the order but was held up by Dennis Foggia in the last moments of the session.

Just outside of the top five was the QJMOTOR Gresini rider of Albert Arenas in sixth place. In seventh was his fellow Spaniard, Marcos Ramirez.

Deniz Oncu was once again inside the top ten. The Turkish rider has had a strong start to the Aragon Grand Prix as he was in the top ten in both Practice sessions.

Manuel Gonzalez ended the session in ninth place. Midway through the Moto2 Practice, his future was also announced as he will join the Intact GP squad for 2025.

Completing the top ten was Somkiat Chantra in tenth. The Thai rider will be up in MotoGP in 2025, but has the remainder of the 2024 Moto2 season to go first.
