Alonso Lopez continues to set the pace in Moto2 as the Spaniard tops a mixed-condition session.
On Friday it was Alonso Lopez who set the pace in the dry conditions in the Moto2 Practice sessions. However, in the mixed conditions on Saturday morning, the times were very different as the MotorLand Aragon surface continued to dry.
Just like on Friday, it was Lopez who once again led the Moto2 field around MotorLand Aragon. During the last two minutes of the Moto2 session multiple riders put on slick tyres, including Lopez.
Jake Dixon was also another rider who put on slick tyres as he jumped up the order into second place. Just behind the British rider was future MotoGP rider, Fermin Aldeguer.
The Spanish rider, Sergio Garcia, had no pace in the dry conditions on Friday. However, in the mixed conditions, Garcia managed to finish in fourth.
One of the first riders to go out on slick tyres was Somkiat Chantra. The Thai rider ended up finishing in fifth place.
Spanish riders Marcos Ramirez and Daniel Munoz ended up finishing in sixth and seventh place on Saturday morning.
Austrian Grand Prix race winner, Celestino Vietti, started his Saturday at MotorLand Aragon in eighth.
Rounding out the top ten was Mario Suryo Aji and Darryn Binder in ninth and tenth.
