Aron Canet ends the day on top after leading the way in both Friday Practice sessions in Barcelona.
Aron Canet dominated the Moto2 sessions on Friday at the Circuit de Barcelona - Catalunya. The Spaniard topped the morning Free Practice session and the afternoon Practice One session.
British rider, Jake Dixon is in his final weekend with the CFMOTO Aspar Team. He ended the opening day in the Solidarity Grand Prix in second place.
Gresini Moto2 rider, Manuel Gonzalez failed to finish in the top ten on Friday morning. However, it was a different story on Friday afternoon as he finished in third place.
Jorge Navarro continues to replace Joe Roberts in the OnlyFans American Racing Team. The Spaniard also continues to put together good results as he ended Friday in fourth place.
Completing the top five was Celestino Vietti on the Red Bull KTM Ajo machine.
The 2024 Moto2 World Champion, Ai Ogura ended the morning session in 20th. But in the afternoon he shot up the timesheets and finished the day in sixth place.
SpeedUp Racing rider, Fermin Aldeguer could finish the season in third in the Championship. However, after missing the last round due to injuries it is likely he is still hurt. But he ended the opening day in Barcelona in seventh place.
Moto2 rookie, Diogo Moreira could win the Moto2 Rookie of the Year title this weekend. The Brazilian has put himself in a great place to do so as he finished in eighth on day one.
Filip Salac was in the top ten once again in Barcelona. The Elf Marc VDS Racing Team rider finished tenth on Friday morning and ninth on Friday afternoon.
Rounding out the top ten was the SpeedUp Racing rider of Alonso Lopez.
