For the fourth time this year Aron Canet is a Moto2 race winner as he ends the 2024 season with victory in Barcelona.
Aron Canet is looking set to be the championship favourite in 2025 as he stays in Moto2 next season. The Spaniard took victory in Barcelona and claimed his fourth victory of the 2024 season.
Manuel Gonzalez was close to getting his second win of the season but had to settle for second place. The Spaniard closed in on the leader in the latter laps but could not catch the Fantic Racing rider.
Diogo Moreira has clinched the 2024 Moto2 Rookie of the Year title and his first Moto2 podium this weekend. The Brazilian rider has shown his potential in his rookie season and is one to watch for the future.
The 2024 Moto2 World Champion, Ai Ogura, was mugged by Moreira on the last lap and finished in fourth. But the Japanese rider will graduate to MotoGP next week as he takes part in his first MotoGP test on Tuesday.
This is only the third time in the 2024 season that Filip Salac has finished inside the top ten. The Elf Marc VDS Racing rider ended his season with a solid fifth place in Barcelona.
Sergio Garcia is back inside the top seven for the first time since the British Grand Prix. The Spaniard has had a difficult end to the season but finished in sixth in Barcelona.
Izan Guevara now has three top-ten finishes on the bounce as he ended his time with the CFMoto Aspar Team with a seventh-place finish.
In eighth place was the Gresini Moto2 rider, Albert Arenas, who ended his season back in the top ten.
Completing the top ten were the SpeedUp Racing riders. Alonso Lopez ended his season in ninth and Fermin Aldeguer ended his Moto2 career in tenth.
