Moto2 Indonesia, Practice One Results: Advantage Ogura at Mandalika, Canet and Arbolino finish the day in second and third

Gold and Goose

Ai Ogura continues to stamp his authority on the Moto2 Championship in Indonesia as he tops the timesheets.

Ai Ogura returns to the top of the time sheets as he leads the way on Friday at Mandalika. The Japanese rider stamped his authority on the Moto2 Championship at Misano and is the favourite for the flyaway races.

After battling for the win last time out at Misano Aron Canet and Tony Arbolino both finished in the top three on Friday in Indonesia. The Spaniard finished in second place with the Italian in third place.

At both the Misano races Fermin Aldeguer was back in the top ten for the first time since Germany. The future MotoGP rider has carried his Misano form to Mandalika as he ended Friday in fourth place.

Somkiat Chantra is only a few weeks away from his hotly anticipated home round in Thailand. However, at the start of the flyaways in Indonesia, the IDEMITSU Honda Asia rider finished fifth.

The late Championship challenge from Jake Dixon came undone in Misano, but he is back in the top ten after Friday. The British rider ended the opening day in Indonesia in sixth place.

Senna Agius finished seventh place at the last Grand Prix in Misano and ended day one in seventh in Indonesia. The second Liqui Moly Husqvarna Intact GP rider of Darryn Binder ended Friday in ninth place.

In eighth place in between the Liqui Moly Husqvarna Intact GP riders, was Manuel Gonzalez.

Completing the top ten was Joe Roberts on the OnlyFans American Racing Team machine. The American rider has not stood on the rostrum since Italy, something he will be wanting to change over the flyaways.
