Moto2 Indonesia, Qualifying Results: Canet claims back-to-back pole positions, Dixon and Ogura complete the front row

Gold and Goose

For the second weekend in a row, Aron Canet will start from pole position, with Dixon and Ogura joining him on the front row.

Aron Canet claims back-to-back pole positions in Moto2 as he sets the fastest time at Mandalika. The Spanish rider had a race win snatched from him last time out at Misano, something he will want revenge for this weekend.

CFMOTO Inde Aspar Team rider, Jake Dixon, will start from the front row on Sunday. The British rider qualified in the middle of the front row from second place.

The Championship leader of Ai Ogura will start from the back of the front row in Indonesia. The MT Helmets - MSi rider will set off from third place.

The second row is made up of three Spanish riders with Manuel Gonzalez heading the row from fourth. Behind the Gresini rider are both SpeedUp Racing riders Fermin Aldeguer in fifth and Alonso Lopez in sixth.

From the head of the third row is the Italian Tony Arbolino on the ELF Marc VDS Racing machine. Arbolino lost out on a race win in Misano like Canet and will want to rectify his mistake.

American rider, Joe Roberts, has not stood on the podium since Mugello earlier this season. An eighth-place grid place is not ideal for Roberts but he will want a podium this weekend.

The IDEMITSU Honda Asia rider of Somkiat Chantra will start from ninth place tomorrow at the back of the third row. Completing the top ten is the Yamaha VR46 MasterCamp rider of Jeremy Alcoba.
