Moto2 Thailand, Practice One Results: Canet sets the pace, Dixon ends up in fourth, Ogura finishes in sixth

Gold and Goose

Last week's runner-up, Aron Canet, topped Day One in Thailand as he set a dominant pace over the field.

Aron Canet continues his strong form as the Spaniards top the opening day in Thailand. The Fantic Racing rider was over 0.2 seconds quicker than second place at the end of Practice One on Friday afternoon.

Despite a heavy incident on Friday morning, Tony Arbolino was back out on track. The Italian rider has an injured left leg but still ended the day in second place.

The OnlyFans American Racing Team rider, Marcos Ramirez, ended Day One in third place. The Spaniard is yet to stand on the podium this season but has a strong chance this weekend.

British rider, Jake Dixon, ended the opening day in Thailand in fourth place. The CFMOTO Inde Aspar Team rider had a difficult start to the session but improved throughout the afternoon.

Alonso Lopez ended his day on the Boscoscuro chassis in fifth place as the top Boscoscuro rider.

The Moto2 Championship leader, Ai Ogura, ended up in sixth place on the MT Helmets - MSi machine.

The final Boscoscuro rider inside the top ten was last week's race winner, Fermin Aldeguer, who ended up in seventh.

The Gresini Moto2 riders of Manuel Gonzalez and Albert Arenas finished in eighth and ninth places.

Completing the top ten was Jorge Navarro, who is standing in for Joe Roberts this weekend on the OnlyFans American Racing Team machine.
